A hot air balloon flight is the dream of most travellers who come to Cappadocia. But as soon as they start searching, many face dozens of websites, hundreds of offers and very different prices for the same flight.
We decided to do it differently. Our goal is not just to sell a seat in a balloon basket, but to help you understand how everything works and choose the best option for your dates.

A local licensed agency
123 Trip Cappadocia is a category A licensed travel agency (TURSAB licence No. 12114) working in Cappadocia since 2017.
Today the agency is run by us, Dmitry and Inna. We are developing the company, keeping its many years of experience and adding modern services and constant support for travellers.
We work right here in Cappadocia. Every day we talk to balloon operators, look after our guests, and follow the weather, the flight situation and price changes. Everything you read on this page is based not on retelling online articles, but on our daily work.

Why there is no fixed price for your date on this website
On international booking sites you can pick any date, even months ahead, and see the flight price right away. But inside Cappadocia the market works differently.
A balloon flight is aviation. Permission to fly is given only after the weather conditions are assessed. If the wind exceeds the permitted limits, flights are cancelled for all operators without exception.
The price also depends on the number of free seats, demand and the situation after previous flight days or cancellations. That is why the final price becomes known only the day before the flight - this is how all licensed operators in Cappadocia work.
The sequence is always the same: permission to fly - registration opens - the price is published. Ask us about the price for your dates in a message. If operators already have an offer for your date, we can secure a seat in advance with 100% prepayment - such a booking usually costs more than the price the day before the flight.
Why our prices differ from international booking sites
Large international platforms sell flights months in advance at a fixed price. They have to build into that price possible market changes, seasonal swings, their own commissions and other risks.
We work right here in Cappadocia and see the operators' real prices every day. So we quote a price that matches the situation at the time of your flight, not one calculated with a large margin months ahead.
How it works
Reservation and registration
We separate these two stages, just as it is done in aviation.
1. Reservation
You tell us your travel dates and the number of people - we hold seats for you without prepayment. At this stage the final price is not yet set, because the market keeps changing until the day of the flight.
2. Registration
The day before the flight we tell you the final price, the pick-up time, the launch site, the operator's details and everything else you need. After you confirm, all that is left is to meet the sunrise and fly.
Transfer to the flight
A shared transfer is already included
The flight price always includes a shared transfer from your hotel. Before the flight a bus collects guests from their hotels along a planned route and takes them to the launch site. After the flight, the celebration and the certificates, guests are driven back to their hotels.
One basket usually carries 32 passengers, so two Mercedes Sprinter minibuses typically collect guests from different hotels.
Want more comfort and freedom? We can arrange a private transfer - a car just for you and your family. You choose the departure time and the route after the flight: Turkish breakfast, nearby sights, a photo shoot, your hotel or the airport.
Private transfer - from 100 €. It turns the morning after the flight into a continuation of your trip rather than just the drive back.
The flight programme
What is included

We can also pick you up from apartments or from the Göreme bus station. If you are staying in Nevşehir or at a hotel far from Göreme, check whether a transfer is possible when you book.
Rules
What to know before your flight
The rules are the same for all operators in Cappadocia - a balloon flight is aviation first of all.
Pick-up time
The pick-up route is planned after sales close. So our manager tells you your pick-up time towards the evening - by 21:00 if you booked in the morning or afternoon. For late bookings we message you as soon as the route is ready.
Don't be late in the morning
The bus will not leave without you, but other guests are already on board and the route is delayed for everyone. If the transfer is more than 10 minutes late, call us - we will find out where it is.
Missing the transfer
Your seat on the balloon is reserved for you and already paid to the operator. So if a guest does not come out for the transfer in the morning, the service counts as provided and is paid in full.
Payment
On the spot or after the flight. No prepayment and no hidden fees: you pay exactly the amount we told you the evening before.
The same rules for everyone
Operators do not accept requests like "no breakfast for us" or "we'll drive to the balloon ourselves". But there is a private transfer, and those who are not flying can come along with the group to see the basket off.
For independent travellers
Everything here applies to guests who came on their own. If you are in Cappadocia on a package tour, ask your tour guides about flights - your tour operator has its own arrangements.
Safety first
If the weather changes
If the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority cancels flights, we immediately start looking for options. Depending on the situation, this may be moving the flight to another day, finding seats with another licensed operator, or a flight in another area of Cappadocia where take-off is allowed.
If there is no suitable option, the reservation is cancelled without any penalty. Our goal is to do everything possible so that during your trip you really get to see Cappadocia from a hot air balloon.
